Application tips
Give your application an individual character so it stands out.
After all, there’s no second chance to make a first impression. And that applies in particular to your application.
A good application is not so difficult when you know what to look out for. It should provide a succinct, clear picture of your personality, qualifications and experience. Impress us! Show us who you are, what motivates you and why you want to join us. In particular, take care of the following points:
1. Make sure your application documents are complete.
As a rule, a good application consists of
a cover letter,
a CV and
copies of all relevant certificates.
2. In a brief but informative cover letter, give us an impression of yourself and your motivation.
The cover letter should answer these questions:
Which job are you applying for?
What interests you about our company and the specific job?
What do you expect from the job?
Why should we choose you?
3. Attach a current CV:
Your CV should be in tabular form.
Start with your most recent activity and avoid any gaps.
Make sure of a clear presentation.
4. Prove your professionalism by observing all the formal requirements of professional correspondence and observing applicable standards:
Check your documents for poor formulations and typing errors.
Ensure a clear, easy-to-follow structure and good readability.
Make sure the copies of your certificates are easily legible.
In the case of email and online applications, only send files which can be opened by any computer (ideally PDF and max. 2 MB).
